Here is the word from Judy Stern, wilderness lover:

Save Our Sky Blue Waters! Stop copper mining in Minnesota!

Big Eddy is on board. I’m so proud to be counted among his millions of fans.

Tune in tomorrow, Tues. Mar. 26. Ed Schultz on KTNF radio, 950am, http://www.airamericaminnesota.com
    http://www.am950radio.com
11am to 1pm is his show.
Ed’s other national show, The Ed Schultz Show is on MSNBC TV, 7pm weeknights but changing to Sat. and Sun. eves, 2 hrs each.

To walleye lovers like me, to all those who feel ignored by the local media, and are fighting to preserve northern Minnesota’s Arrowhead tourist region from greed and filth of corporate mining companies seeking to plunder our riches and leave us to suffer the spoils – it has NEVER been different with this kind of mining, sulfide mining, – to you I say, listen up.

I sought out Ed at the Northwest Sportsman’s Show in Minneapolis on Sunday. He was there with his family from Minnesota that runs Big Eddy’s Lodge in Manitoba, a fishing camp. I appealed to his famous sense of generosity, asking him to inform the people of Minnesota about the proposed mining and drilling rigs on Birch Lake south of Ely, on Kawishiwi River waters that drain into the BWCAW. I also mentioned the frack sand mining issues on the Lake Pepin bluffs. He said he would help spread the word.

Today, Monday, March 25, one day after our talking he did. He said much more to come!
